About Hash Identification
This tool analyzes hash strings and identifies possible algorithms based on length, character set, and format patterns. Since many hash algorithms produce similar-looking outputs, multiple matches may be returned with varying confidence levels.
Note: Hash identification is based on pattern matching and cannot definitively determine the algorithm used. Multiple algorithms often produce hashes with identical formats (e.g., MD5, NTLM, and MD4 all produce 32-character hex strings).
