What envelope sizes are available?
The generator includes five standard sizes: #10 Business (241 x 105 mm, for standard letters), A2 Invitation (146 x 111 mm, for RSVPs), A7 Greeting (184 x 133 mm, for 5x7 cards), C5 (229 x 162 mm, for A5 sheets), and DL (220 x 110 mm, for tri-fold letters). You can also enter custom dimensions.
How do I assemble the envelope?
Print the template, cut along the solid outer lines, and fold along the dashed lines. Fold the back panel up first, apply glue to the side tabs and press them against the front panel, then fold the top flap down. Use a bone folder or ruler for crisp folds.
What paper should I use?
For best results, use medium-weight paper (100-160 gsm). Standard printer paper (80 gsm) works but makes thinner envelopes. Cardstock (160+ gsm) creates sturdier envelopes but may be harder to fold neatly. Decorative or patterned paper adds a personal touch.
Will the template fit on my paper?
The generator automatically selects the best orientation (portrait or landscape) to fit the template on your chosen paper size. If the envelope template is too large for the paper, you will see an error message suggesting a larger paper size. Larger envelopes like #10 may require letter-size paper.
